However, till this day, Mitron -- the app that managed to get over 5 million downloads in a month of its launch -- back on the Google Play Store, according to reports. Google had issued a clarification on why these apps were pulled down from the Google Play Store despite the crazy amount of popularity these apps received in a really short span of time.
Google’s clarification on Mitron app In this clarification, they had also mentioned that it was working with the developers of Mitron to fix the issue. “We have an established process of working with developers to help them fix issues and resubmit their apps. We’ve given this developer some guidance and once they’ve addressed the issue the app can go back up on Play,” noted Sameer Samat, Vice President, Android and Google Play, in the blog post.

The app developers have also added a website of the developer on the Play Store -- something that wasn’t there earlier. The developers describe the app as a “free Short Video and Social Platform.
Abou Mitron Application:
The app was into news primarily for two reasons. First, it garnered 5 million downloads in a relatively short space of time. And secondly, it was reported that the app did have a connection from Pakistan. It was reported that the source code of the app was bought from a Pakistan-based developer company
QBoxus, the Pakistan-based company, told The Times of India-Gadgets Now in an earlier interview that Mitron was in fact rebranded version of their TicTic app. “It’s a direct copy of TicTic app,” said Sheikh in the interview. He also said that source code of TicTic was bought by 277 customers, including the developers of Mitron.
